The registration fees apply whether an on-site or online delegate.

For On-site delegates, Registration Fee includes the following items:

– All conference materials

– Access to all scientific sessions, exhibition

– Refreshment breaks

– Access to online livestreams and recorded presentations.

For Online delegates, registration fee includes the following items:

– Access to 8 live streams (opening and closing ceremony, 2 plenary and 4 keynote presentations) directly from Inter-Noise 2023 from the International Conference Room.

– Access to the recordings of the presentations of the technical sessions. (recordings will be available within approximately 24 hours after the congress has taken place).

Registration Fees are in JPY and include VAT @ 10%

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Payment of Registration Fees

Full payment must be made by credit card at the time of registering. Cards accepted are VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and JCB The bank transfers can be accepted from only within Japan.

Full payment must be received via online payment in full prior to the congress. If you register at the early registration rate, payment must be received in full by the Early Registration deadline. If payment is not received at this time, your registration rate will automatically be changed to standard registration and the higher fee will be due.

On receipt of your registration form, a confirmation email will be sent to you by the congress organizers. If you have not received this within 5 working days of registering, please contact the congress secretariat by emailing inter-noise2023@ig-online.jp . To get a receipt for the payment of your registration, please go to the your page on Confit website.

Standard Cancellation Terms

Notification of cancellation must be submitted by email to the congress secretariat to inter-noise2023@ig-online.jp

Cancellations made on or before the cancellation deadline (1 July 2023) will be refunded less the 10,000 JPY administration fee. Cancellations made after the cancellation deadline will NOT be refunded. By submitting your registration, you agree to the terms of the cancellation policy.

COVID Cancellation Terms

Conditions that apply to cancellations, substitutions and rescheduling of the Congress due to COVID-19 are listed below. All other cancellations will be subject to the standard cancellation policy.

Cancellation of the On-site event

If the On-site Congress has to be cancelled as a result of an outbreak of COVID-19 restricting travel to, or circulation within Chiba, Japan, Inter-Noise 2023 will hold a virtual Congress and all delegates will be transferred to the virtual event. All ancillary costs (cancelled flights etc) will not be the responsibility of Inter-Noise 2023.

Registration changes

Delegates who are unable to attend the Congress due to their location in a declared COVID-19 hot spot will be automatically transferred to become virtual delegates. It is the responsibility of the individual to contact the conference secretariat (inter-noise2023@ig-online.jp) if they are affected by a local lock-down, no refund will be applicable to no shows.

Substitutions

Substitutions are allowed for delegates. Please notify the Inter-Noise 2023 secretariat in writing if substitutions are required.

Substituting a presenting author with an alternative person (one of your co-authors only) is acceptable and should be notified to inter-noise2023@ig-online.jp. Note that the name and order of the authors will not be changed in the congress programme and proceedings.

No Shows will NOT be refunded.

Liability

By no means shall Inter-Noise 2023 be held liable, either directly or indirectly, for any problematic issue that may occur within the framework of the congress and its organisation, not only with respect to the organisers but also with respect to third parties (airline companies, hotels, transportation, taxis, etc.) while in the performance of duties or services even indirectly related to the congress.

This contractual liability exemption clause is equally valid in case of an event of force majeure which leads to the disruption and/or the partial or complete cancellation of the congress programme, for reasons not attributable to Inter-Noise 2023. An event of force majeure is defined as an unforeseen and exceptional event – be it climatic, environmental, political or socio-economic – and does not imply any limitation.

Furthermore, the delegate also expressly agrees to totally absolve Inter-Noise 2023 from any responsibility and liability with regard to travel insurance and related costs or claims. It is solely up to the individual to seek out and purchase or otherwise obtain the necessary insurance with regards to his/her travel, etc. and/or to independently issue a claim against any third party that may be responsible for direct or indirect losses or damages caused to or suffered by the delegate en route to and from the congress.

Data Protection Act 1998/2003

The 52nd International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering (Inter-Noise 2023) will use your personal data only for purposes connected to this meeting and no details will be passed onto any third parties.

Validity of Passports

It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for travel and we recommend that you check with your local Embassy. Please note that some countries require your passport to be valid for up to 6 months from the date of return.

Important Message

Please be aware of unofficial websites offering hotel accommodation and registration packages. They are not representing Inter-Noise 2023 and you should only book via this website for registration and we advise you reserve accommodation only via our appointed the housing partner.

VISAS

From 11th October, pre COVID-19 visa exemption arrangements has been resumed. Please refer to MOFA website for more details.

If you require a letter to confirm your registration please complete the online registration form and make payment. Please email inter-noise2023@ig-online.jp to request a letter after you have registered and made payment. (Request deadline: 31 July) If your visa is declined, we are only able to offer refunds in line with our cancellation terms and conditions.
